Plan 53 information
The wet pressurised sealing principle is the more reliable and safe selection for almost any pump application where dual sealing technology is required. Its limitations are only found in the end product quality specs, since the product stream will see some barrier liquid contamination, and in the high(er) pressure applications, where the ∆P over the outboard seal may cause technical problems in respect to seal construction, wearing and heat gen.
